Ms. Schuette's class wrote “Thank You” letters to her grandfather who is participating in an Honor Flight in October. Ms. Schuette's grandfather served in the Air Force and fought in Vietnam War. One must apply and be accepted in order to attend the Honor Flight. This Honor Flight recognizes past veterans by flying them out to DC to see the war monuments and memorials. When they were deployed for war, they always looked forward to letters from home. As a tribute, they will receive letters from friends and families who express their gratitude for their service on their flight back home.
