MMS History Club presents Irish Culture and Folklore: Our program will kick off around 3 and last about an hour.  We are not focusing on St. Patrick’s Day because there is so much more to Ireland!  We will be creating a map to display, and I need your creative abilities and fabulous ideas!  We will have traditional Irish snacks (sweet and savory) to munch on while we create.  You will also get a bit of green to wear on St. Patrick’s day!  Bring your friends and come to room 206 after school today March 16, 2026!

The Spanish Club will meet the third Thursday of the month on Thursday, the 19th right after school. ¡Nos vemos!- See you then!

Lost & Found Cleanout:  Students please check the Lost & Found located in front of the cafeteria for any items that you may be missing.  The items that remain on Friday, March 20th will be removed and donated.  Thanks!

March is Empathy, "Walk A Mile In Someone Else's Shoes", month. Empathy means the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Student Services is hosting a Giving Balloon Drive to stock our Care Closet. Starting next week and through the month of March students and staff can take a balloon or multiple balloons from the "yellow brick road" and return the balloon with the care items they purchased to Student Services.

The MMS Read, Right, Run Club is excited to partner with Unlimited Play to help raise funds for the future Without Limits Playground that will be built in Mascoutah! This playground will provide an inclusive space where children of all abilities can play together.

Each homeroom has been challenged to collect $100, and our school-wide goal is $3,500. Every donation helps bring this amazing playground one step closer to becoming a reality!

Thank you for supporting our students and helping create a place where everyone can play without limits! Donations will be collected from March 16-March 27.

Three students will be randomly selected each week for a prize if they’ve completed their agendas all week. Students will be called to the office over the intercom at random times throughout the week. If your name is called, come to the office with your agenda. If your agenda has been completed all week, including with a goal written at the beginning of the week, you will receive a swag bag full of great prizes. Good luck!
