Read, Right & Run is a great activity available for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Students will meet every Monday after school to log their weekly miles. They always have a running assignment of some kind—building up their stamina to running 2 miles around the school neighborhood. In addition, students do the right things by helping teachers in whatever capacity they can, making right acts in their community, and doing the same at home, too. Also, they are required to maintain a reading log.
In April, these students participate in the GO! St. Louis Read, Right & Run event held in Forest Park. This is a great event promoting physical fitness, reading, and doing the RIGHT thing!
